Galaxy S26 Pro, S26 Edge Battery Capacities Surface Online

Samsung is indeed making some noticeable efforts in extending the battery capacity of its Galaxy devices, and that’s impressive. Meanwhile, the newly rumored Galaxy S26 Pro and Galaxy S26 Edge are claimed to feature better battery power, says the report.

It’s not unknown that Samsung is allegedly planning to rename its vanilla model of the upcoming Galaxy S26 series as the Galaxy S26 Pro, while also replacing the Plus model with the Galaxy S26 Edge; a new report from GalaxyClub indicates that not only is the rebranding happening, but also the newest smartphones will feature slightly better battery capacity than other flagships.

The report specifically mentions that the middle variant, Galaxy S26 Edge, will debut with a 4,200 mAh battery pack, while on the other hand, the vanilla model, Galaxy S26 Pro, is supposed to arrive with a slightly bigger, 4,300 mAh battery pack. On the comparison side, the current Galaxy S25 has only a 4,000 mAh battery capacity, while the Galaxy S25 Edge comes with a 3,900 mAh battery pack.

At the same time, a previous report has already claimed that Samsung is perhaps planning to bring a major leap in battery charging speed with the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra, which is rumored to bring 60W fast charging alongside a 5,000 mAh battery power. This sounds impressive.

Well, Samsung has clarified that the next generation Galaxy S26 series will mark the beginning of the first 2 nm-based chipset, the in-house Exynos 2600. This Galaxy family is going to be the first lineup to debut with the newest processor.
