Galaxy S26 Pro Could Be Samsung’s New Standard

Samsung is highly based on its S series, and it is still making some big changes for its next lineup. As usual, the company will introduce the three models in the series, but this time, there is certain confirmation that the Galaxy S26 series will get a huge change in naming.
Yesterday, it was reported that the Galaxy S26 series will have the S26 Pro model, but now, with the latest report via Sammypolice, it is certainly confirmed to be available with the lineup.
The Galaxy S26 Pro appeared on GSMA certification with the model number S942U. The model number suggests it is based in the US. So it is expected that the company could bring some new changes to the devices.

Meanwhile, it also confirms that the Galaxy S26 Pro will replace the base variant, which was the entry-level variant in the series. At the same time, the Plus variant is also replaced by the Edge model.
Additionally, the early Galaxy S26 series also revealed that the devices could be available with One UI 8.5 out of the box.
