First Software Update Rolls Out for Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and Flip 7 FE

Samsung recently launched its latest foldable smartphones—the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE—bringing them to the global market. On the very first day these devices became available for purchase, Samsung rolled out their first software updates.

Samsung is sending the first software updates for its latest foldables—Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE—and they are available for global variants.

While the company has not disclosed detailed release notes or a changelog, they are unlikely to bring any new features. It comes with bug fixes and stability enhancements that improve the overall performance and reliability of these foldable devices.

The new updates are being delivered via OTA for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which is updated with firmware F966BXXS2AYGG; the Galaxy Z Flip 7 gets F766BXXS2AYGD, and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE receives F761BXXS2AYG5.

As always, Samsung users can check for updates by navigating to their device’s Settings app, selecting “Software update,” and tapping “Download and install.” Regular updates are crucial for maintaining security and optimal device performance.
