Samsung Moves to Shield One UI 8.5 and One UI 9 and Beyond from Early Exposure

Samsung One UI leaks have always been so enjoyable for the entire Galaxy Phone community; however, it appears like users will not be witnessing any more leaks going forward, perhaps from One UI 9.
There is some bad news! It looks like there will be no One UI leaks from now on, says a recent report.
Samsung Ends Early One UI Access to Protect Future Software Development
According to SammyGuru, Samsung has just discovered a security vulnerability in the latest OTA update system that was almost offering various major leaks of the newest One UI 8. Basically, this vulnerability apparently allowed people to dive deep into the internal firmware builds to get a sneak peek of new features before Samsung was ready to introduce them.
At the same time, users tricked Samsung using a community-derived C# tool that easily allowed users to access Samsung’s FOTA servers and decrypt metadata with the help of apps such as CheckFirm. As a result, outsiders can easily decode the development builds and reveal all the new elements in apps or services, for example, Secure Folder upgrades and other information like redesigned stock apps.
However, this trick was helping numerous users to be topped up with a bunch of views and popularity. Also, the source further mentioned that Farlune, a random user, directly reported the issue to Samsung, perhaps as a part of the bug bounty program. The report lists internal URLs and decryptions used to bypass the access control to sneak a peek into One UI leaks.
Well, for now, Samsung is possibly eyeing stopping the leaky elements right there. At the same time, users will not possibly be able to get as many One UI leaks or previews over the coming updates, while a few One UI versions are already under Samsung’s pipeline, including One UI 8.5 and, of course, One UI 9.
