Galaxy S26’s 10-Core Exynos 2600 Shows Up in Benchmark Leaks

Samsung just released a clue that the Galaxy S26 (Vanilla) could be based on an in-house Exynos 2600 chipset, which is now spotted on Geekbench.
The Galaxy S26 series is about to launch in early 2026, including the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Edge, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. It’s reported that Samsung is looking forward to using its in-house Exynos 2600 chipset to power the base variant of the lineup (Galaxy S26), at least in selected markets.
Meanwhile, a tipster, @Jukanlosreve, shared a post on X, revealing that Samsung has started testing the Exynos 2600chipset, as it has been spotted on Geekbench with the model number S5E9965.
According to the listing, the chipset includes a 10-core CPU similar to its predecessor, the Exynos 2500, which is as follows:
- One prime CPU (likely ARM Cortex-X935) core clocked at 3.55 GHz
- Three performance CPU cores (likely ARM Cortex-A730) clocked at 2.96 GHz
- Six mid CPU cores running at 2.4 GHz
The single core of the chip scored 2,155, whereas the multi-core scored 7,788. It features an Xclipse 960 GPU, which is compatible with Vulkan 1.4. Currently, it’s not clear whether it is based on a 2 nm or a 3 nm process.

Apart from the Geekbench spotting, another report revealed that a Samsung executive suggests the company is evaluating the Exynos 2600 chip for the Galaxy S26 and that it will use both Exynos and Snapdragon chips in its next high-end phones. It hints that the company could use it in the Galaxy S26 or the Galaxy S26 Edge; however, the exact official confirmation regarding this expectation has yet to be revealed.
