
Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series debuted with Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box, bringing you the most powerful and next-level experience. At the same time, the company is rolling out the latest July monthly security update for the S25 family in the US.
While the Galaxy S25 models have already received the latest July 2025 security update in other regions, including South Korea, Samsung is now looking towards expanding the new software in one of the major markets, the US.
More specifically, the latest firmware for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra is currently available for both the carrier-locked and unlocked units, where the locked models have been identified with the version numbersS931USQS5AYE7, S936USQS5AYE7, and S938USQS5AYE7, respectively, while the unlocked units come with the build numbers S931U1UES5AYE7, S936U1UES5AYE7, and S938U1UES5AYE7, respectively.

The latest update is all about bug fixes, and most prominently, it brings various improvements for the device’s overall security and core functionality. It packs a handful of fixes or patches for all the security vulnerabilities that have been addressed in the previous version to eventually offer a more secure user experience, at the same time keeping the device safe against sophisticated threats.
Well, Samsung is eyeing implementing certain innovations that will apparently help Galaxy audiences to have a secure experience, providing them peace of mind while using their Galaxy devices. Also, the company appears to have already moved on to this patch, as a recent report claims that Samsung is working on adding the Quantum Security suite with One UI 8.
