Samsung has already introduced the July 2025 security patch to the Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy S24 FE but it was initially limited to South Korea, now it has started expanding the update to Europe.
Samsung Galaxy S24 series getting the update with firmware version S92*BXXS4BYG2 , while Galaxy S24 FE getting update with the firmware version number S721BXXS6BYE5. It comes with a software size of 302.32 MB. According to the changelog there are no significant changes mentioned so it is more likely focused on the security enhancements.
The July security patch for the Galaxy devices comes with more than 40 patches, Google has introduced 20+ patches applicable to Galaxy devices . Along with this the Korean giant has also introduced 17 more patches to enhance the security of the devices exclusively. Apart from these, if you are getting any other issues then the update could fix them for you.
Samsung has launched the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 FE back in 2024, the device will come with the Android 14 and is promised to get the seven years of updates where it will get seven major update and also get the similar security patches for seven years.
One UI 8 availability
As far as the availability of One UI 8 is concerned, the Galaxy S24 FE is eligible to get it but due to the fan edition it will not get the beta access but it could get the priority in getting the stable in the first wave. Most probably the device could started getting the stable update in the next month. While the Galaxy S24 series is expected to get the One UI 8 beta updates in the next few days.
