Samsung is now looking forward to expanding its Galaxy AI ways to offer more advanced features that can proactively respond to users’ requests.
Last week, the Korean tech giant successfully held its July Unpacked event, at which the latest Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, Galaxy Watch 8 series, and Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) were launched.
Apart from the debut of these latest Galaxy devices, one part of the event was dedicated to the Galaxy AI. At the event, Vice President Park Ji-sun, in charge of the AI Language Team of Samsung’s MX Division, revealed the future strategies of artificial intelligence coming on Galaxy devices.
According to Mr. Park, in the future, users will be able to share what they are seeing with the camera without having to manually enter each command. He also points out that multimodal AI, currently, is only capable of understanding context and user intent but will become the new standard in mobile experiences.
The company is planning to develop Galaxy AI in a personalized direction, which will make it compatible with remembering user habits and behaviors to provide proactive support without waiting for their requests.
Based on the research between Samsung and University College London, up to 45% of AI users now regularly use voice commands, whereas almost 60% of users want their phones to be able to “understand their habits and act on their behalf.”
It’s also revealed that not only smartphones but also the company will integrate personalized AI with more devices such as smart rings, watches, bracelets, home appliances, and TVs.
