Samsung tests One UI 8 on Galaxy A54 and A35 alongside flagships

Samsung is progressively getting closer to stable One UI 8 that will run Android 16 on top; meanwhile, for the right Galaxy A55, the company has begun testing the latest version on more Galaxy A series devices.

Despite various delays with One UI 7 in the past, it looks like Samsung doesn’t want to repeat any mistakes with its new major OS, One UI 8, and that’s probably the primary reason why the latest Android 16-based version is on the right track.

Since the newest version has already been spotted on several Galaxy models, including major flagships, foldables, and budget phones, the company is internally testing the One UI 8 build on its test servers for the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A35 models.

More specifically, according to the report, the Galaxy A54 was spotted running its first-ever internal One UI 8 test build, carrying an all-new version number, A546BXXUEEYG5, and at the same time, another report claims that the Galaxy A35 is also being tested with the internal One UI 8 version on test servers and has a new build number, A356BXXU5CYG5.

This eventually suggests a strong hint that Samsung has moved forward testing its latest Android 16-based One UI 8 version for more eligible devices. However, these test builds are only for internal testing purposes, and Samsung doesn’t release them publicly to all the users.
