Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Series and Ultra 2 to Debut Antioxidant Index Feature

Samsung is all set to launch the latest Galaxy Watch 8 series and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025 within a few hours at the Unpacked event, and right ahead of the launch, a bold feature of the watches has been leaked.

The Korean tech giant will launch three of the latest smartwatches, including the Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025). Meanwhile, newly leaked images of the watches have just confirmed their key feature, called Antioxidant Index, that saves users from premature aging.

A reliable tipster, Roland Quandt, revealed that the upcoming watches will feature an Antioxidant Index feature, which allows users to take care of their health and prevent premature aging. This will be a great, significant feature that goes beyond fitness tracking, the common task of wearables.

You can easily track your antioxidant index by taking off the watch from your wrist and then putting a finger on the sensor. Once you’re done, proceed as the software directs, and the system will measure your antioxidant index. Noticeably, you can analyze the result as the higher the index, the better your nutritional intake. Now you can access the stats on your Galaxy Watch, which will include the ratio of fruits and vegetables in your balanced diet. According to the index, you can manage your diet and ultimately prevent premature aging.

Initially, Samsung will introduce this Antioxidant Index feature with the Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025 models, which will run the Wear OS 6-based One UI 8 Watch software version out of the box. This means that it could be possible; the company could expand the feature with the One UI 8 Watch update to older Galaxy watches.
