Samsung is a few hours away from launching the next-generation foldable phones; meanwhile, a new foldable phone, Samsung W26, which is already in the development phase, appeared online.
Last year, Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition foldable, which was one of the thinnest and lightest foldable devices in the Galaxy family. However, the company initially launched the device in Korean markets and later expanded the availability in China with a different branding name: Samsung W25.
Now, a new report from one of the reliable sources, xpertpick, revealed that the company is working on Samsung W25’s successor model, Samsung W26, which has already been certified for sale in China by the relevant authorities.

Reportedly, the Samsung W26 has received 3C certification in China with the dedicated model number SM-W9026. According to the listing, it will support the EP-TA800 power adapter with 25W charging support.
The device will also be compatible with satellite connectivity service. Apart from these, the listing hasn’t revealed more details regarding the device or even the final marketing name. However, Samsung has yet to release any statement regarding the underdeveloped Samsung W26 smartphone, so it remains to be seen if it will be launched this year or next.
Currently, it’s all set to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE smartphones today at the Galaxy Unpacked event in New York.
