Samsung’s July 2025 Security Update released, check out the details

Samsung has earned a remarkable position when it comes to delivering software updates for its Galaxy smartphones. Now, the company has released the latest monthly Security Maintenance Release that integrates the July 2025 Android Security bulletin, check out the details disclosed by Samsung.

Basically, the newest Android Security Bulletin for the July month for Galaxy devices, consisting of Google patches, Samsung Semiconductor patches, and patches from Samsung itself.

First up, Google patches CVEs for the July 2025 Security package packs 1 Critical CVE, 21 High-level CVEs, 1 CVE already included in previous updates, and 1 CVE is not applicable for Samsung devices. In addition to Google patches, the latest security maintenance release further includes 1 high-level CVE from Samsung Semiconductor.

At the same time, accompanied by Google patches and Samsung Semiconductor patches, Samsung mobile itself provides 17 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVEs) that eventually helps in improving overall system security and functionality. These SVEs consist of patches for Samsung Knox Vault, System UI for Galaxy watches, access control in Samsung Account for Galaxy Watches, Wi-Fi password for Galaxy Tablets, Bluetooth, LE Audio service, and Emergency SOS.

However, the latest security releases doesn’t bring any major features and changes, but it significantly focuses on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality to provide a more secure user experience, while also protecting the device against sophisticated threats and harms.

Beyond this, as usual, Samsung has removed the Galaxy Tab S7 FE from the monthly security maintenance release. Therefore, software support for the device has now ended and is not eligible to receive any further updates in future
