Samsung Galaxy G Fold specifications, launch, & price details leaked

Samsung is anticipated to unveil its first-ever tri-fold phone next week at the Unpacked event, and here are the newly leaked specifications of the device.
The Korean tech giant is all set to hold the Summer Unpacked event next week on July 9, in New York, at 10 a.m. ET, 3 p.m. BST, and 4 p.m. CET. The company is confirmed to debut at least three foldable phones at the event, which are as follows –
- Galaxy Z Fold 7
- Galaxy Z Flip 7
- Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE
The next-generation smartwatches, including Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, are also anticipated to debut at the event. Apart from these devices, one more device, tri-fold (Galaxy G Fold), is also highly anticipated to be unveiled at the event; however, Samsung hasn’t released any confirmation regarding this yet.
Meanwhile, a new report from The Bell revealed a few key specifications and the release timeline of the upcoming tri-folding phone. According to the report, Samsung will showcase the device at the Unpacked event and will start the mass production sometime in September, then release it for sales in October.
Reportedly, the device will feature a 10-inch OLED display, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and a camera setup similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 7, including a 200MP primary,a 12MP ultrawide, & a 10MP telephoto sensor at back, and a 10MP selfie camera at front. Its expected to have a smaller battery than its rival Huawei’s tri-folding phone which has 5,600mAh.
It’s expected that the Galaxy G Fold could cost KRW 4 million, which is nearly $2,941, and will probably be limited in the Chinese and Korean markets. Noticeably, the phone will be manufactured at Samsung’s primary smartphone manufacturing plant in Gumi.
