Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic live images leaked

Samsung to debut the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic next month at the Unpacked event, and ahead of that, a few live images of the watch have surfaced online, revealing the bold new shape.

Samsung has already confirmed to hold its next major Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9, in New York, at which it will debut its latest foldable smartphones, including Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip FE. Apart from the foldable phones, the company will also debut the next-generation smartwatches, including Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.

Meanwhile, a leaker, Setsuna Digital, on Weibo (via), leaked a few live images of the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, revealing the new squircle design profile. This shape is completely refreshed as compared to the previous Watch models.

Initially, the company introduced the squircle design last year with the Galaxy Watch Ultra. Now, the company is expanding this design with the upcoming Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch 8 Classic to continue the legacy, whereas the Classic model will also have a rotating bezel.

The leaked images also hint at the metal touch combined with a leather band. The watch features two buttons placed on the left side and a physical rotating bezel. It’s expected that the watch will offer better durability as compared to its predecessor.

The bezels are thinner than in previous times, resulting in a more premium look. However, the official look of the watch is yet to be revealed, so it remains to be seen whether these leaked design will come into existence.
