Galaxy S26 Ultra is rumored to come with 16GB RAM

Samsung is gearing up to bring the next-generation Galaxy S26 series, and the Ultra model, Galaxy S26 Ultra, is rumored to be available in a 16GB RAM variant.

The Galaxy S26 series is supposed to debut in early 2026 as the successor of the Galaxy S25 series. It’s reported that Samsung will introduce at least four variants under the upcoming series, including Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, Galaxy S26 Ultra, and Galaxy S26 Edge

However, a few reports also suggest that the company could replace the Galaxy S26+ with the Galaxy S26 Edge, and the reason behind this is to lower the sales rate of the plus variant. Meanwhile, a new report revealed that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will come with 16GB of RAM.

However, Samsung also offered the Galaxy S25 Ultra with a 16GB RAM variant, but that was limited to selected markets, including South Korea, Taiwan, and China. Before that, the Galaxy S21 Ultra was the device to have 16GB of RAM.

The tipster, Anthony, claimed that the Galaxy S26 Ultra is coming with 16GB of RAM; however, he didn’t mention any details regarding the availability, so currently its quite hard to predict whether the company will use the same strategy to keep the 16GB variant limited to selected markets or whether expand it widely.

It’s too early to discuss the storage variant of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, since it’s almost half a year away from the launch. Also, Samsung has yet to release any official details regarding the specifications and details of the smartphone, so it remains to be seen whether the report will come true.
