Samsung is already working on its upcoming major OS, One UI 8 which currently holds a beta tag and is running on Galaxy S25 series. With a few devices already spotted running One UI 8 internally, now, it looks like the S25’s One UI 8 beta has already gone stable.
Surprisingly, a new Android 16-based One UI 8 firmware for the Galaxy S25 series has been spotted (via Tarun Vats on X) on Samsung’s test servers that carries the build number, BYFB which doesn’t look like a beta version but it’s a normal build that seems to be a stable one, suggesting that there is no need to release any beta for the S25 models anymore.

Basically, all the beta version’s last four letters begin with the alphabet Z, but this time, the current build surfaced for the Galaxy S25 models holds the letter B, which depicts that this version is not at all the beta build.
However, Samsung might possibly avoid releasing it to all the users publicly, but it hints that the S25 owners could witness the stable One UI 8 very soon, without exceeding any more beta versions after One UI 8 beta 2.
Beyond this, it appears like Samsung is allegedly planning to begin the official One UI 8 stable rollout as early as possible for the Galaxy S25 series. With that said, it’s already confirmed that the next generation Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 will debut with One UI 8, out of the box, and will run Android 16 on top. It could happen that Samsung might consider releasing the stable build as early as next month.
