Samsung is all set to debut the next-generation Galaxy Watches: Galaxy Watch 8 series, which is rumored to have a massive storage upgrade as compared to its predecessor.
Samsung has already announced that it will hold the Summer Unpacked event on July 9, in New York, at 10 a.m. ET, 3 p.m. BST, and 4 p.m. CET. It will launch the latest Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip FE. Apart from the foldable phones, the company is also anticipated to debut the next-gen smartwatches, including Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025).
In a few recent days, several Galaxy Watch 8 series renders have surfaced online, revealing the decent design and color options of the watches. Meanwhile, a tipster, Anthony, shared a post on X, revealing the storage details of the upcoming watches.
According to the post, the Galaxy Watch 8 series will have 64GB internal storage, which is a massive storage upgrade compared to its predecessor Galaxy Watch 7 series, which had 32GB storage. Apart from the storage, Anthony also mentioned that the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic also brings back the rotating bezels in a new 47mm case.
The Galaxy Watch 8, with a 40mm measurement, is reported to have a 312mAh battery, whereas the 44mm version will have a 435mAh battery. However, Samsung has yet to reveal the official specifications of the coming Galaxy watches, so it remains to be seen whether the report regarding the storage will be true.
