Finally! Samsung announced 9 July as the official date for the next Galaxy Unpacked event. As rumored, the event is confirmed to take place in New York City. Let’s take a closer look at the details of the launch event.
Initially, leaks and rumors suggested that Samsung would hold its Summer Unpacked event sometime in early July 2025. Later, a report leaked the exact date (July 9) for the event, and fortunately, the report proved to be true, as the company also announced the same date.
Today, Samsung, via its official newsroom, announced that on July 9, Samsung Electronics will host the Unpacked event in Brooklyn, New York. The event will be streamed live on the company’s official platforms, including Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom, and the YouTube channel, beginning at 10 a.m. ET, 3 p.m. BST, and 4 p.m. CET.
Samsung hasn’t mentioned the exact names of the device that will debut at the Unpacked, but the next-generation foldable phones, including Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip FE, are confirmed for the event. Alongside the foldable phones, it will also debut the Galaxy Watch 8 series and a new Galaxy Watch Ultra.
It’s expected that Samsung may also tease the long-awaited tri-fold phone, which is rumored to be named as Galaxy G Fold. It will be interesting to see what new novelties the company will introduce at the Unpacked event.
