Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6’s June 2025 Security Patch makes it to the US

Samsung’s June 2025 security patch rollout is still ongoing, while the company has delivered the update for a good number of Galaxy devices so far. Following South Korea, Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 units are getting the update in the US.
In previous days, Samsung has distributed the new software update for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 that significantly integrates the latest June 2025 security patch, while so far, the update was only limited to South Korea and Canada; meanwhile, the company has just started expanding the update for the previous year foldables, which is spotted in the US.
More specifically, the latest firmware for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 is currently available for the carrier-unlocked models in the US, carrying build numbers, F956U1UES2BYF3 and F741U1UES2BYF3, respectively.

At the same time, the latest update is just a minor patch that is meant to strengthen the overall system security. Similarly, the June update; however, doesn’t bring any major features and changes, rather it significantly brings various improvements for the device’s overall security and core functionality. It packs a lot of bug fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that were acknowledged in the previous version to provide a more secure experience, while also protecting the device against potential threats.
Beyond this, the update further adds stability and reliability to the entire system behavior for an efficient functionality, and also brings certain optimizations to the device’s overall performance for a smooth, stable and optimized experience to the users.
