Samsung is all set to launch the seventh-generation foldable phones next month, including the Galaxy Z Flip 7, which is now confirmed to be powered by the Exynos 2500 chipset, as Geekbench spotting reveals.
Samsung is rumored to hold the Unpacked event next month on 9 July in New York; however, it’s not officially confirmed yet. Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip FE will be launched at the event.
Ritually, Samsung powered its foldable phones with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipset; however, this time it is changing its ritual by powering the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7 with in-house Exynos 2500 chipset.

A tipster, @tarunvats33, revealed that the international variant of the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7 appears on Geekbench running the Exynos 2500 chipset, with the model number SM-F766B. According to the benchmark test, the single-core of the device scored 2356, whereas the multi-core scored 8076.
Listing revealed that the Exynos 2500 includes a 10-core CPU with the prime core clocked at 3.30GHz, aided by two Cortex-A725 cores at 2.75GHz, five Cortex-A725 cores at 2.36GHz, and two Cortex-A520 efficiency cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The listing also revealed that the device is paired with 12GB of RAM.
Recently, it was also reported that the Exynos 2500 is confirmed to support satellite connectivity service. The device has yet to be launched officially, but it will be interesting to see whether the decision to switch from Snapdragon to in-house Exynos chipset will be worth for the Flip 7.
