Samsung Phones May Come with 3‑Year Contracts via T-Mobile

T-Mobile is one of the biggest phone network carriers in the US, and for years the company has offered brilliant options to finance devices. Now, it looks like some sort of good news is on the way to the US-based Samsung fans who are looking to lock up their devices with T-Mobile.

Basically, like other big names such as Verizon and AT&T, T-Mobile also has its dedicated payment installment plan, named as Equipment Installment Plans or EIPs. So far, the company has offered 24-month installments, but now, it appears like there could be some changes into the plans.

Reports from The Mobile Report significantly claims that it appears like T-Mobile could be extending its 24-months installment length to 36-month EIPs, as an internal document has just launched that eventually details that the 36-months installment plan could be making its way for a few devices.

Further information points out that a few Samsung Galaxy watches listed on the product page of T-Mobile’s website precisely displayed the new EIP length. However, it’s important to note that T-Mobile has taken aback with the decision of extending its EIP length for payment instalments, and the internal document was removed as well. This probably suggests that the company has moved the decision further for some date in the future.

At the same time, T-Mobile extending the payment installments for 3 years will prove to be advantageous to both the company and the customers. This new strategy will attract and excite the customers to be locked-in with the carrier for longer run, while the customers with tight budget could have a phone worry free for an additional year and can easily reduce the monthly cost slightly.

Well, if T-Mobile will move forward with the implementation of a 3-year installment plan, than it will be effective for the customers as they will have a longer payment plan with them to think about
