Samsung’s June 2025 security patch reaches Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 units for the first time, after receiving the One UI 7 stable update in all the eligible countries.
The company has finally wrapped up the One UI 7 update rollout for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 models and now, the foldable units are getting the June 2025 security update, beginning from Samsung own fort, South Korea, where the update for the models is identified with the build numbers, F946NKSS5EYF1 and F731NKSS5EYF1, respectively.
More specifically, the monthly Android security bulletin usually carries minor patches that eventually focuses on improving the Galaxy device’s overall security and core functionality.

The update; however, doesn’t bring any major features and changes, rather it significantly packs a host of fixes for all the security vulnerabilities addressed by both Google and Samsung collectively to provide a more secure user experience, while also protecting the device against potential threats.
At the same time, the update further adds stability and reliability to the entire system behavior for a more efficient functionality, and brings certain optimizations to the device’s performance that leads to a more stable and smooth user experience for the users.
Well, Samsung is currently progressing with the June patch rollout for Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 from South Korea, thus the foldable owners can now download the latest version on their devices, while more eligible regions are expected to join soon in the near future.
