Samsung seems all set to add a new member to the Galaxy M-series, named Galaxy M36, in the Indian market soon, as it has started teasing the device.
Recently, it’s been reported that Samsung is already working on an affordable smartphone under the Galaxy F-series, named Galaxy F36 5G, and it seems identical to the Galaxy M36 smartphones.
For so long, the Korean tech giant has been gearing up to debut the Galaxy M36, and now it has teased the device for Indian markets, revealing that it will be available exclusively via Amazon in India.
A new report from 91mobiles revealed that the Galaxy M36 smartphone has been officially teased for the very first time, and the teaser image confirmed that the device is an ‘Amazon Special.’ According to the report, the device features a Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and an Infinity-U design. Samsung used its in-house Exynos 1380 chipset to power the Galaxy M36, which includes four ARM Cortex-A78 CPU cores clocked at 2.4GHz, four ARM Cortex-A55 CPU cores clocked at 2GHz, and the ARM Mali-G68 GPU.
The Galaxy M36 will be available in two models based on storage, including 6GB of RAM and 128GB & 256GB internal storage. It will run Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box and will receive six major Android OS updates.
Apart from this, the device could have a fingerprint reader, 5G, dual-SIM card slot, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, USB Type-C port, stereo speakers, and a 5,000mAh battery, and support 25W or 45W fast charging. However, Samsung and Amazon haven’t revealed the exact launch date of the smartphone yet, but it’s expected that it could happen in the coming weeks.
