Report: Galaxy Z Fold 7 could be the slimmest foldable ever

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is just a month away from being introduced officially at the Unpacked event, and head of that, now its thinness has leaked online.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 will join the Galaxy Z Flip 7 next month Galaxy Unpacked event. The Korean tech giant is aggressively working on expanding its ways in the foldable market and maintaining its leading legacy, for which it is focusing on introducing more innovative foldable devices. Recently, it’s been revealed that the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 will have an extremely slim hinge as compared to its predecessor, which makes it look like a normal phone.

Now, a reliable tipster, Anthony, shared a post revealing that the next-generation foldable Galaxy Z Fold 7’s frame is just 3.9mm thin. If the report comes true, then it will be the slimmest foldable phone in the Galaxy family yet.

A few days back, the leaked CAD files of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 revealed the dimensions of the device, according to which it is 4.54mm thin while unfolded and 9mm thin while folded. It was also reported that if this measurement comes into existence, then it will be 0.1mm thicker than the OPPO Find N5 smartphone, which is the world’s thinnest foldable smartphone available in the market nowadays.

However, the official dimensions of the device have yet to be revealed, it remains to be seen what new benchmark the device will set in terms of slimness.
