One UI 8 brings two new Live Activity support for Now Bar

Samsung’s Now Bar is considered as one of the most incredible upgrades that has arrived with One UI 7. The function has again taken the entire spotlight as a fresh report claims that the next major OS, One UI 8 will add more live activities to the Now Bar feature.
While as of now, One UI 7’s Now Bar allows users to check notifications about various live activities, such as Samsung Health, Alarms, timers, media playback, Interpreter, and stopwatch; One UI 8 appears to take the feature’s functionality to the next level by integrating a few more live activities into it.

The recent reports from Sammobile claims that they have been noticing two new live activities or functions from the apps, including Samsung Phone app and Modes and Routines, while also sharing a few screenshots that displays the mode’s live activity that’s currently active and can be seen on the lock screen via the Now Bar on the Galaxy phone running One UI 8.

First up, with the modes live activity, tapping the Now Bar will certainly open up the entire list from which the user can choose which one to activate.
Beyond this, the second live activity is the Samsung Phone app. One UI 8 has further integrated the Phone app within the Now Bar, which appears when placing a call to a person, while also displaying the current status of the call, like calling, and once it’s answered, it displays the call time duration.
Well, it was previously reported that One UI 8 will be the first step of integrating more app support on Now Bar for Samsung, it appears like the company is already up to implementing additional app support in the Now Bar feature. However, it’s yet to be seen how well the integration of more apps will result.
