Samsung starts delivering May 2025 Patch for Galaxy S23 in Europe

It looks like Samsung has paced up the May 2025 security patch rollout for its Galaxy devices; meanwhile, the Galaxy S23 series has started getting the update in the European market.

Samsung’s 2023 models have already received the One UI 7 stable update in different regions; the company is now looking towards expanding the latest May 2025 security patch in Europe after delivering the patch in South Korea. Also, wider availability is expected shortly.

More specifically, the latest firmware for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra is identified with the build numbers, S911BXXS8DYDB, S916BXXS8DYDB and S918BXXS8DYDB, respectively.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Series May Update

Well, the update is just a minor security patch and it; however, doesn’t bring any major features and changes, rather it aims to improve the device’s overall security and core functionality. It integrates a lot of bug fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that were acknowledged in the previous version in order to offer a more secure user experience, while also protecting the device against external risks.

Beyond this, the update further adds stability to the entire system behavior and brings certain performance optimizations that help users to have a more smooth, stable and optimised functionality. Since the update is now reaching the European Galaxy S23 models, users can download the latest version on their respective devices when available.
