Samsung is looking forward to expanding the high-end Log Video mode to the selfie camera of the Galaxy S25 lineup, as the report says.
The Korean tech giant introduces the Log Video initially with the Galaxy S25 series, including the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. Although later it expanded the feature to the older Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24.
Samsung’s Log Video mode refers to a recording format that is compatible with capturing video footage with a wide dynamic range and a flat, desaturated colour profile. It is significant to preserve more detail in both highlights and shadows, making it easier to colour-grade in post-production.
Now a tispter, @DevOfIpos, shared a post on X, claiming that Log Mode for the frontal camera is coming to the Galaxy S25 series. This means that Samsung will expand the Log Mode feature to the front camera to enhance the selfie camera experience.

Virtually, log video is a video identical to RAW photos, which delivers greater flexibility for creative colour adjustments. However, the tipster doesn’t reveal the exact date for this new integration, and Samsung has also yet to release any official statement regarding this report, so it remains to be seen whether Log Video mode will come to the selfie camera of the Galaxy S25 series. If this report comes true, it might be possible, Samsung could extend this integration to Galaxy S24 selfie cameras.
