Samsung’s Now Brief May Get a Voice in One UI 8 Update

Samsung’s One UI 7 version brought about an all-new yet significant feature, Now Brief, which exclusively arrived with the current flagship, the S25 series. However, later on, Samsung decided to expand the function to more eligible models. Meanwhile, the Now Brief feature is extending its capabilities with One UI 8.
Basically, the Now Brief significantly guides Galaxy users to get more personalized briefings all throughout the day by offering suggestions that are easily accessible via the Now Bar on the phone’s lock screen, while also securing the insights by Knox Vault to strengthen privacy and providing a secure Galaxy AI experience.
Meanwhile, according to the latest analysis conducted by Android Authority, Samsung appears to be looking forward to enhancing the functionality of Now Brief in an all-new way by letting users listen to their everyday briefs.
The source managed to dive into the One UI 8 build and noticed that the feature could get a “Listen Brief” feature. On the other hand, as the name suggests, the Listen Brief label could let users listen to their Now Brief without having a look at the screen or reading them.
At the same time, it’s also possible that the Listen Brief feature might make users pick either Samsung’s or Google’s text-to-speech engine with play, pause, and stop buttons.
With that said, this newest Listen Brief feature of Now Brief sounds interesting, as it provides everyday briefs to the users, and that too in a handy audio version. Well, the upcoming major OS, the One UI 8, which is further rumored to arrive as early as June in the form of the One UI beta program, is currently in its early stages of development, and thus, various more improvements could be expected in Now Brief in One UI 8.
