Samsung has already started the distribution of the latest May 2025 security patch to different Galaxy devices, as the Galaxy S24 series models are receiving the update.
The new firmware for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra is identified with the build numbers S921NKSS4BYDF, S926NKSS4BYDF and S928NKSS4BYDF, respectively.
The update is currently available in the company’s home country, South Korea, while the wider availability is expected shortly.
Meanwhile, the May 2025 security patch; however, doesn’t brought any major significant features and changes; rather it focuses on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality and this time, it’s noticeable that the latest security patch fixes numerous security vulnerabilities by integrating patches brought up by both Google and Samsung collectively to offer a more secure user experience.
At the same time, the update further adds stability and reliability to the entire system behavior while also adding several performance optimizations that eventually lead to a more smooth, stable, and efficient user experience.
