Galaxy S22’s One UI 7 stable update is now available across the US

Samsung is aggressively working to take its software update efficiency back on track. After the kick-start of One UI 7, the company is rapidly expanding it to the eligible devices. Now, with the latest development, the Galaxy S22 units in the US are also joining the party.

Following the stable update rollout for the carrier-locked models, Samsung started expanding the software across the US as the unlocked Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra units are receiving the update carrying S901U1UEU8FYDB, S906U1UEU8FYDB, and S908U1UEU8FYDB build numbers, respectively.

Meanwhile, the One UI 7 build not only packs some impressive capabilities of Android 15 OS, but also brings about a lot of new features and changes that eventually take the user experience to the next level. It adds the capability to check more important alerts and control music, timers, and more via a new Now Bar feature without even unlocking your phone, a more improved home screen and the widgets are highly customizable.

At the same time, sophisticated live notifications that allow users quick and easy access to the voice recordings, sports scores, and other ongoing activities, a more enhanced Galaxy AI and other productivity tools. 

Finally, the update further integrates the latest April security patch that eventually focuses on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality to provide a more secure user experience, while also protecting the device against certain risks.

While the wider availability of the update for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series is expected to follow shortly, the S22 model owners can now download and install the latest version on their devices.
