Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge is now reported to feature Ceramic glass on the front side, initially, which was rumoured for the back. Let’s take a closer look at the new report.
The Korean tech giant is getting ready to debut the Galaxy S25 Edge on May 13 in selected markets, including Korea and China. A few months back, it was exclusively reported that the upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge will feature a ceramic build on the back, however, that’s not the case anymore, as a new report suggests this.
A tipster, Panda Flash, on X, shared a post under the “Confirmed” title that the Galaxy S25 Edge will have Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 built on the back side. Whereas in the comment section, the tipster also mentioned “Back Victus, Front Ceramic.”
If this report comes true, then Samsung will use Ceramic glass for the front side and Victus 2 glass for the back side of the Galaxy S25 Edge. However, Samsung has yet to reveal the official statement regarding this report, so it will be interesting to see whether the Ceramic will be used for the front side.
Recently, the Galaxy S25 Edge details surfaced in significant leaks ahead of launch, which revealed that it will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, a 200MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and 85-degree field of view, a 12MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture and 120-degree field of view, a 3,900mAh battery, Bluetooth 5.4, and Wi-Fi 7 support.
