Samsung Wallet Users Receive Important Notice Regarding Transit Cards and IDs

Samsung is always looking towards providing a more convenient experience to the Galaxy users. Meanwhile, a short notice has been issued regarding Samsung Wallet when replacing USIM.

The recent notice is basically for all the Samsung Wallet owners who have been planning to replace their USIM with any other SIM when using the Wallet service with a transportation card and mobile ID.

Samsung Wallet’s notice says that those customers who use a transportation card and mobile ID with Samsung Wallet are required to follow a few precautionary steps before proceeding to replace their USIM. Firstly, for the transportation card, when replacing the USIM, users need to complete the prepaid transportation card refund procedure and then proceed with changing the USIM.

At the same time, if the USIM is replaced without the refund, then prepaid transportation card holders have to obtain a reissued transportation card from the card company and then continue with the entire refund process, while the postpaid transportation card holders need to go with their transport card deletion process.

Next up, for the mobile ID owners, Samsung Wallet requires the user’s mobile ID when issuing; thus, in case the user has replaced the USIM, it will become tough to use the previously issued mobile ID. However, users might face a little inconvenience, but in order to reissue the same mobile ID and to use it, users need to reissue the ID by visiting Samsung Wallet help support.
