These Samsung Phones Will End Their Journey with One UI 7 and Android 15

Samsung remarkably focuses and prioritises the security and better functionality of its entire Galaxy ecosystem, and, of course, its software update distribution is one of a kind, which is still unmatched by other Android partners in the market. Meanwhile, there are a few devices which are going to end their major OS journey right here. Do check out the list given below.
One UI 7 Is Great, But It’s the End of the Line for These Devices
Basically, Samsung aims to prioritise its device’s safety and longevity, and therefore, upgraded its software update policy with the arrival of the Galaxy S21 series, where the 4 major OS and 5 years of security updates were first introduced.
Following which, Samsung has apparently divided its Galaxy devices in certain categories, including 3 major OS updates and 4 years of security patches, 4 OS updates and 5 years of security patches(several flagships and mid-tier models), 7 years of OS and security patches (S24 or higher), and even 8 years (for enterprises models) and follows a significant pattern for the software update rollout for its Galaxy smartphones, tablets and foldables.
At the same time, the company provides both the major OS updates and relevant security patches according to the section in which the category is placed. Meanwhile, it’s quite obvious that once the deadline of any device arrives, the company automatically stops delivering any further update whether it’s major OS or a regular security patch update.
Similarly, there are a few Galaxy devices for whom the latest Android 15-based One UI 7 update will be the last major OS update, meaning these models will not receive any major OS update in future. However, they will continue to get regular patches until their policy ends.
