Samsung promised seven years of software support to Galaxy Tab S10 FE series

Samsung recently launched its latest Galaxy Tab S10 FE lineup under the Fan Edition family and promises flagship-level update support.

After a long teasing, the Korean tech giant officially announced the Galaxy Tab S10 FE series, including Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 FE+. Along with the official announcement, Samsung revealed the detailed specifications, color variants, price, and availability of the tablets but didn’t disclose the software policy.

Recently, a controversy has already been raised regarding the Galaxy Tab S10 FE software support, but the conclusion remains in question whether the tablets will get six or seven years of software updates.

Now, finally, it’s officially confirmed that Samsung will offer seven years of OS and security updates to the newly launched tablets. According to the official product page for the Galaxy Tab S10 series, the tablets will be supported with security updates at least until the end of April 2032. Currently, the tablets launched on Android 15-based One UI 7; this means that according to the timeline (2032), they will get Android 22 as their last major OS update.

Galaxy Tab S10 FE security software support

Samsung has already adopted a long-lasting six years of software support policy for the newly launched mid-range smartphones and seven years for the flagship ones. Recently, Samsung also confirmed that Galaxy S25 Enterprise phones will get updates up to Android 23.
