Samsung to revolutionize foldable market with 360-degree rotation capability

Samsung filed a new patent for its future foldable phones that can fold inward and outward, which will take the foldable market to another peak.
The Korean tech giant is actively working on leading the foldable market by introducing innovation. Currently, it is setting up to debut seventh-generation foldable phones, including Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, at the Galaxy Unpacked event in the second half of this year. Apart from these two devices, the Galaxy Z Flip FE and Galaxy G Fold (tri-foldable) are also in the pipeline to debut this year.
Meanwhile, a new report from Atlyginimo Skaiciuokle with David from @xleaks7 revealed that Samsung has filed a new patent that pushes the boundaries even further, showcasing an ultrathin display designed to fold fully around, rotating up to 360 degrees.

The current foldable smartphones only fold inward, which protects the screen but limits immediate visibility, and only bend up to 180 degrees. The newly spotted patent suggests that future foldables could fold both inward and outward. This means that the phones will be capable of rotating a full 360 degrees.
However, Samsung has yet to release any official statement regarding this patent. The 360-degree foldable design is currently under patent, raising questions about whether the company will use it for commercial purposes.
