
After starting the AI revolution in the smartphone market, Samsung is all set to revolutionise the XR device ecosystem with its upcoming Android XR device. The Korean giant initially revealed the prototype last year and recently showcased it at the Galaxy Unpacked and MWC events. Now, according to the report, it has started working on motion-controllers devices.
Samsung XR to be available with first-party motion controllers
Samsung is started working on developing its own compatible motion controllers for the XR headset. According to the report, the clue of controller development was found with the model number ET-OI610.
These controlled are most probably coming with the wirele3sss connectively and motion sensors to fit in the competition relative to other headset controlled available in the market.
However, at the same time, the XR headset from Samsung will also be able to bring most of the features accessibility through finger and hand gestures.
Samsung’s Project Moohan XR Headset availability?
Samsung’s XR headset is currently running in development and the company hasn’t given any commercial name for the product but for internal identification, it has name it Project Moohan. Currently, there is no final date confirmed for launching these headsets, but according to the rumors it is expected that Samsung could launch these headsets in the next Galaxy unpacked event for Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7, which will be hosted in the early second half of 2025.
If we talk about other specifications, the gadget is expected to be equipped with Qualcomm snapdragon XR series chipset and runs Android XR. The device will feature a dozen of cameras and sensors with immersive high-quality displays.
