One UI 7 Beta Expands: Galaxy S23 Series to Get Early Access of Android 15 Soon

Samsung has revealed plans to extend its One UI 7.0 beta testing phase to a wider range of Galaxy devices, including smartphones and tablets. Alongside this expansion, the company confirmed timelines for the official public release of the software. The Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra will also get the latest Android 15-based One UI 7.0 beta update in the coming days.

Initially, the company opened the One UI 7 Beta program last year in December 2024 for the Galaxy S24 series, and until now it hasn’t expanded the beta for older eligible devices. It’s been three months since the company has been running the beta program only for the Galaxy S24 devices, and now finally it has released the official One UI 7 beta program roadmap.

The One UI 7 Beta Program will also be available for the Galaxy S23 Series

Samsung has officially confirmed the One UI 7 beta program for older Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S23 series. Although the company still didn’t mention the exact date for the rollout, it’s clear that by the end of March, the Galaxy S23 series will get the One UI 7 Beta.

Apart from the expansion of the beta program, the Korean tech giant also revealed that the stable version will start rolling out in April 2025.

Recently, several One UI 7 test builds were spotted on the test server for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 & Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy S23, and Galaxy A55, which hinted that maybe the company is planning to expand the beta update for these devices soon. Fortunately, all of these devices appear in the official roadmap.
