Samsung could expand Galaxy S25 Log Video feature to Galaxy S24

Samsung with the Galaxy S25 introduced a bundle of new convenient and advanced features to enhance the user experience, including a “Log Video” feature, which is anticipated to arrive on the Galaxy S24 series with coming One UI updates.

Previously it was reported that Samsung could expand two notable Galaxy S25 features to older Galaxy S-series devices, including Log Video and Best Face; however, it was unclear the feature would arrive with which update.

Now a reliable tipster, Tarun Vats, on X, shared a text post claiming that Samsung will bring the Galaxy S25’s “Log Video” feature to older Galaxy S24 series with the future One UI  update. He said the Galaxy S24 Ultra will get the feature with the One UI 7 update, whereas the Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 will get via One UI 8 update.

Samsung introduced a new software feature ‘Log Video’ with the Galaxy S25, which can record videos in a logarithmic (Log) profile.

However, apart from the ‘Log Video’ feature, a newly introduced Audio Eraser is also expected to arrive on the Galaxy S24 series, however, there’s no official confirmation regarding this report yet.

A few Galaxy S25’s features are not expected to arrive on older Galaxy devices, particularly based on artificial intelligence; for instance, Now Brief, since it requires advanced chips with a power-efficient NPU. It will be interesting to see which new Galaxy S25 feature Samsung will bring to older Galaxy S-series devices.
