Samsung Galaxy G Fold (Dual-Fold] Rumored to Launch in Select Markets First

Samsung is gearing up to expand its foldable lineup by debuting more devices, including the Galaxy G Fold (Tri-Fold), which is anticipated to debut in selected markets initially.

Samsung is supposed to debut its seventh-generation foldable phones, including Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip FE, in the second half of the year. Apart from these three devices, initially, the company was also expected to launch its first trifold smartphone, the Galaxy G Fold, by the end of this year; however, a few days ago, news came that it could be scheduled for next year.

Now a tipster, PandaFlash, shared a post on X, claiming that Samsung will debut the Galaxy G Fold initially in the selected markets. Although he doesn’t specify a market, we suspect the device will launch in Korea, China, and the US.

He also mentioned more details regarding the upcoming Galaxy G Fold’s design, according to which the device could feature a flat frame on all sides, similar to the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7. Reportedly, the crease visibility could be the same as the Galaxy Z Fold 6, the prototype cameras placed in the center of the phone, and a similar camera ring design as the Galaxy Z Fold 7. However, Samsung has yet to release any official details regarding this report, so it remains to be seen whether the leaked design details of the device will come into existence.
