Latest One UI 7 Beta Update Refreshes Battery Charging Animations

Samsung’s latest Android 15-based One UI 7 is considered the biggest upgrade ever in history so far, aiming to offer a good deal of features and impressive changes to the entire Galaxy audience. One among them is the redesigned charging icon and animations. Now, the new look of the charging animations via One UI 7 Beta 3 has been spotted that adds an interactive look to the battery icon at the status bar.
The first beta phase of One UI 7 brought about an impressive charging animation that is integrated via the Now Bar (its newly designed dynamic island) to offer an intuitive look and experience to the users. Following the new rollout, Samsung significantly restructures the charging animations with the One UI 7 Beta 3 update.
One UI 7 Beta 3 Brings a New and Improved Battery Charging Animation
When dive into certain changes, it was found that the One UI 7 beta 3 adds a minor change in the charging animation. When plugging in the charger, the smartphone’s battery indicator, placed at the top right of the home screen, will expand itself for a few seconds and display “Charging” inside the pill while also integrating a new bluish gradient effect, thus providing a more immersive design to the battery indicator.

Alternatively, the first beta of the One UI 7 version consisted of a charging animation that doesn’t expand the pill of the battery indicator, and the word charging is written outside the pill. Apart from this, the charging sound has also been changed.
While the charging animation preview seems interesting, with the One UI 7 version still under works, Samsung might perform more relevant changes and enhancements with the latest update in the coming days. Although the One UI 7 beta 3 has arrived for the Galaxy S24 Series owners, with the Galaxy Unpacked event being around the corner, it’s expected that Samsung will bring more interesting features and changes within the latest version in the future.
