Samsung Galaxy Watch Gets Smooth Browsing with This App

Samsung Galaxy Watch users, here’s a surprise for you, as you can now browse anything directly from your wrist via the new app WristWeb on Galaxy Watch.

Wear OS has released a new browser for watches to offer a viable option for web browsing on smartwatches. Smartphones are the first choice of users for web browsing; they don’t seem to be an option for this, at least not yet. However, one of the reasons behind this was the lack of any dedicated browsing app. Finally, the new Wear OS browser, WristWeb, lets you browse smoothly directly from your Galaxy Watch.

A developer, Ángel Gabaldón, on Reddit, unveiled the launch of a new web browser for Wear OS named WristWeb. The newly launched WristWeb browser offers a few significant features, including voice input for entering URLs, automatically adjusted web pages, a custom search engine, a home page, and more. Currently, the ‘Send a page to your phone’ feature is not available but is coming soon.

WristWeb features a menu ring that can be easily accessed by swiping up, which includes various options such as reloading pages, opening settings, going back/forward, jumping to the top of the page, and going back to the home screen. To zoom in and out, you have the pinching gesture. The new Wear OS browser called the WristWeb app will surely enhance the user experience as it performs quite well. The app is available on the Google Play Store; interested users can directly download it from there.
