Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition full Specifications

Samsung unveiled its awaiting foldable phone with the new branding, the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition. The phone will go on sale on October 25 in Korea. Let’s take a closer look at the full specifications of the device. 

Samsung claimed that the newly launched Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is the thinnest and lightest foldable phone ever in the Galaxy family. It weighs 236 grams and is 10.6 mm thin. 

The device measures 157.9 x 142.6 x 4.9mm in dimensions while unfolded and 157.9 x 72.8 x 10.6mm while folded. It has a 20:18 foldable screen aspect ratio and a 21:9 cover screen aspect ratio. Samsung protected the front and back of the device with Gorilla Glass Victus 2, while the frame is made of aluminum or Armor Aluminum. 

The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition features an 8.0-inch QXGA+ dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex main display and a 6.5-inch dynamic AMOLED 2X panel cover display. Both displays have a refresh rate of 120 Hz. 

The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and has a 4,400mAh battery with unspecified charging speeds. The memory package includes 12GB and 16GB of RAM and 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB of internal storage. It runs Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 out of the box. 

The camera setup includes a 200MP primary camera, a 10MP telephoto, and a 12MP ultrawide. For selfies, a 4MP under-display cover camera and a 10MP wide camera are housed. Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition supports Wi-Fi 7. The sale of the device will start on October 25.
