Samsung introduced the Interpreter with Galaxy AI a long while ago as a part of the Galaxy Store; meanwhile, it then brought up an upgraded version of Interpreter, which debuted with One UI 6.1 as one of the most useful Galaxy AI features. 

The Interpreter app allows Galaxy owners to have real-time translations of their conversations.

On that note, here’s how to use the Interpreter app on your Samsung Galaxy devices:

  • Enter the Quick Settings panel.
  • Choose Interpreter.
  • Here, select the language by the bottom microphone icon to choose your preferred language.
  • Now, tap on the language by the top microphone icon to choose the language the other person will use. 
  • Tap on the Add languages option in case you want more language options. 
  • Allow microphone access when the pop-up appears on the screen. 
How to use Galaxy AI Interpreter
  • Finally, click the Change view mode icon at the top to flip the top half of the screen to face the other person, and then just tap the microphone icon that’s facing you and speak to begin the real-time translation.
