Samsung Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A14 started receiving July 2024 update in the US

Samsung has already rolled out the July 2024 update to many Galaxy devices including Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A14 smartphones, yes you read it right these devices have already received the update in some regions now with the fresh development the company has started expanding the update in the US.

Samsung has rolled out the July 2024 update for the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A14 devices, for both locked and unlocked devices. According to the information, the Galaxy A53 locked units are bound to Verizon, MetroPCS, T-Mobile, and Comcast.

Verizon locked units with the firmware version number A536VSQSCEXG2. Meanwhile, on the other carries the Galaxy A53 is getting the same update with a different version number A536USQSBEXG5.

The Galaxy A14 unlocked units on Verizon, T-Mobile, MetroPCS, and Comcast are getting a new update with the firmware version number A146USQS8DXG1. T-Mobile, MetroPCS, and Comcast with the firmware version number A146USQS8DXG1.

Moreover, the unlocked units of the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A14 are getting the latest security patch update with the firmware version number  A536U1UESAEXG2 and  A146U1UES8DXG1 respectively.

The July 2024 update is a general security patch update that aims to enhance the internal functionalities that make the system more protective, so if you want to take advantage of a new update then you should update your device to the latest firmware.
