Adobe Lightroom Introduces Magical Generative AI Features

Adobe is expanding the functionality to add an extra layer of convenience to the users’ seamless experience, as it is adding an artificial-intelligence-powered Generative Remove feature to its Lightroom photo editor.

After retiring two photo editing applications for Android, Adobe released a major update for Lightroom on both Android and iOS platforms, which brought a new feature called Generative Remove based on AI. This feature will permit you to easily remove unwanted objects from your image while editing on a smartphone, making it even more powerful.

This new Generative Remove function of Adobe Lightroom seems quite similar to Google Photos’s Magic Eraser, since both tools are introduced to help you remove unwanted objects from your photos, saving those “almost perfect” shots. However, photo editing applications have been permitting you to eliminate unnecessary objects from pictures for years, but up until currently, these features have been more efficient in theory than in practice, making them inconvenient for less experienced users and resulting in final results that are not always satisfactory.

Adobe offers a user-friendly experience as it lets you remove unwanted objects quite easily and immediately; the edits would not permanently damage the actual photo. The generative AI tool covers up the gap left by the removed object, creating a more natural-looking edit. Apart from this, the Adobe team has also enhanced the Lens Blur function, which is now improved along with new presets with which you can give free rein to their creativity.
