Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Full Review

The big bang of the tech industry—the Galaxy S24 Ultra—is in the market now. Beyond question, it is a power package of all the premium features, specifications, and design. Samsung debuted the Galaxy S24 Ultra on January 17th in California, along with its two companion smartphones, the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+.
Here’s Galaxy S24 Ultra Full Review
The Galaxy S24 Ultra is a tough competitor to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, for sure. In all ways, it seems perfectly fine, whether it is about processor, software, hardware, design, camera, and whatnot. Let us explain to you the detailed tweaks of this premium smartphone with a closer look at it.
Galaxy S24 Ultra Specifications
Design –
The Galaxy S24 Ultra might pretty much look similar to its processor smartphones, the Galaxy S23 Ultra and Galaxy S22 Ultra, but the brand has designed it in a way that never goes out of trend. There is a minor new twerk that makes it different and vibrant as compared to the previous two, which is its “flat display”.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra is completely flat, which makes sense and also enhances the S-Pen experience because, on the curved display, when using the S Pen, you get a little too close to the edges and the pen just flies off. So now the flat display like paper makes enough sense while using the S Pen seamlessly. Its dimensions are 126.3 x 79.0 x 8.6 mm, and it weighs 232 grams. The frame is now made of titanium for the iPhone Pro series.

Colors –
The Galaxy S24 Ultra is available in four color variants: Titanium Gray, Titanium Black, Titanium Violet, and Titanium Yellow. All these colors will deliver a classy as well as vibrant look.

Display
The Galaxy S24 Ultra features a 6.8-inch dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X reflective and full rectangle display. This time, the brand has attached a massively bright display with 2600 nits and a 120 Hz refresh rate, 1440 x 3120 pixels. This time, a Corning Gorilla Glass Armor protects it. Its screen is super bright, but if it’s super reflective, then the ongoing fingerprint will also reflect. But the company has attached an anti-glare, and it’s not just a screen protector because it does not arrive with a screen protector; it’s the actual display.

Camera –
It is absolutely a smartphone with quite smart camera specifications as well as fantastic features. Even though the brand took away the 10-megapixel optical camera and replaced it with the 5-megapixel optical camera, the images still appear super classy, and the 5-megapixel optical camera is 50 MP, so even while taking 10-megapixel zoom images, the quality seems optical in place of digital.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra features 200 MP (f/1.7). 24mm wide camera, 50MP (f/3.4) 111mm periscope telephoto with 5x, 10MP (f/2.4) 67mm telephoto with 3x, and 12MP (f/2.2) 13mm ultrawide. On the flip side, the selfie camera is 12 MP (f/2.2) and 26mm wide.
Jumping on its video quality, then recording videos on the Galaxy S24 Ultra is beyond imagination as compared to any other rest of the Galaxy smartphones. Now you can switch between all lenses while recording at 4K at 60 fps.

Apart from this, if you want to go into the pro video mode, then you can actually do 4K at 120 frames per second, which is Bonkers feature, especially if you use it to edit your videos for professional purposes. You can slow that 120 video down into a 30 frame, 30 FPS timeline, which will result in a super slow motion at 4K quality, which is remarkable. Then the AI helps you find a video in your gallery application; tap and hold it. Boom, it’s slow motion. Just like that, the AI kind of looks at the video in real time.
Performance –
The Galaxy S24 Ultra delivers an unbeatable performance, honestly. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, based on 4nm, powers the Galaxy S24 Ultra, making it the most upgraded edition yet. It has an octa-core that includes 1×3.39GHz Cortex-X4 and 3×3.1GHz Cortex-A720 and 2×2.9GHz Cortex-A720 and 2×2.2GHz Cortex-A520, and the GPU is Adreno 750 (1 GHz).
This chipset leads to smooth and fluent high-end performance without even lagging, gaming, or overheating issues.
Operating System:
The Galaxy S24 Ultra runs Android 14-powered OneUI 6.1. It is the first device to get powered by Android 14 and the latest One UI 6.1 out of the box, due to which it has several exclusive and brand new features for enhancing the user experience as per their convenience.

Moving on to the software support, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will get seven years of major Android OS updates and security patches. Since it launched on Android 14, it will get major OS updates up to Android 21 and security patches until 2031. Could you think of anything better than this? However, Google has already allotted seven years of major OS updates for its Pixel 8 series.
Battery –
The Galaxy S24 Ultra has a battery life of 5000 mAh with the support of 45W weird, which will charge the phone within 30 minutes from 0% to 60%, and 15W wireless charging support. It also has 4.5W reverse wireless support. However, at first, it usually seems like the worst period of battery life for an Android smartphone because the operating system has not optimized how you use the phone yet, but even after setting it up, it will automatically perform in an ordinary way.
Build Quality:
In terms of build quality, this time the frame is made up of titanium. That’s right, and it just delivers a cool bible. It feels premium, and you have that nice peace of mind that you are getting a really high-quality product, and the screen is apparently four times more scratch-resistant as compared to the previous devices. Also, it is quite grippy on the sides, which will protect it from slipping out of hands, whereas the buttons are nice and clicky.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra is powered by an IP68 rating, which makes it fully waterproof, so you can use your smartphone in rainy scenarios.
Storage –
The Galaxy S24 Ultra has three variants based on its memory:
- 12GB of RAM + 256GB of internal storage
- 12GB of RAM + 512GB of internal storage
- 12GB of RAM + 1TB of internal storage
Galaxy AI
The Galaxy S24 Ultra is the very first smartphone to get Galaxy AI. Samsung has powered the device with brand new AI features that are convenient and will enhance the user’s experience. There are bundles of brand new AI features that have arrived with the Galaxy S24 Ultra, such as:
- Circle to Search
- Live Translate
- Note Assistant
- Photo Assistant
- AI-generated summary of the recording.
