How to remove the One UI 5.0 beta

Here’s how to proceed to get back to an earlier version of the software. In this case, it is best to have a backup of the device made with Smart Switch at hand.

  • First of all, you will need to exit the beta program: to do this, just go to Settings > One UI Beta Program and choose the appropriate entry to exit the program.
  • Now just connect your smartphone to your PC and, through Smart Switch software, go back to an earlier version of the One UI by selecting Downgrade. In this process, you will be able to restore the backup you made previously.
